Welcome to Boone Vacation Cabins!

The High Country is the perfect place for your next vacation. We have four distinct seasons, which means there are a wide variety of activities to enjoy all year long. Spring is truly beautiful as all the mountain foliage starts to bloom. The wide variety of hiking trails in the area is a great way to see some breathtaking vistas of the Appalachian Mountains. In the summer, you can beat the heat by going whitewater rafting, and the North Carolina Symphony will be in town working the App Summer Festival at Appalachian State University. For more information on the festival events you can visit the website www.appsummer.org.  To purchase passes to the Festival call Farthing Auditorium box office at 1(800) 841-2787.  Autumn always draws many visitors to the High Country because of the NC fall foliage season as well as the Appalachian State football season with the three-time national champions, the Mountaineers! Winter means that our four local ski slopes will be in full swing, featuring some of the best skiing and snowboarding in the southeast.
